Helen slipped away peacefully at home surrounded by her family which is how she so desperately wanted it to end. She was so determined to get home from hospital, and although she was home for such a short while it was a triumph for her.

We will never set sail together, nor sit together in life. And although we will never share the same thoughts again, Helen will forever be in mine.
